|Our Year 1-6 classes were treated to a visit from Professor Maths on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week! Christelle and Annastacia from Room 8 have written a ‘Compare and Contrast’ text, comparing learning maths through the Professor Maths Incursion, to their regular classroom.|
|Today we went to Professor Maths and played mathematics games outside, unlike the class where we are inside and play less games. At Professor Maths when we finished our games we earnt wigs and glasses, however in class we earn stickers or pride points. Professor Maths and mathematics lessons are alike because they both use counting, make you think, are fun and challenge you.

|Today we went to Professor Maths and played mathematics games outside unlike the class where we use a book and study at our desk in a chair. In class we do less talking whereas at Professor Maths we did a lot of talking. Both in the class and at Professor Maths we do a lot of different activities and challenges, however in the class we do more writing. Both in class and at Professor Maths we learn about shapes and numbers. Professor Maths dresses up and lets us earn wigs and glasses. He wore a lab coat and looked like Albert Einstein unlike Mrs Eddington who doesn’t wear a wig or look like Albert Einstein.
